I saw a post about cosplay and wanted to say that its very inspiring. Just because the character is a size 00 doesn’t mean you need to be. This was part of my Sailor Neptune cosplay. I didn’t have the courage to make an actual sailor suit but I may this year!
The dress is a size 20 from David’s Bridal (worn for a wedding originally) and the shoes are from walmart. One thing I love about the geek and nerd community is that they are very accepting. I was afraid someone somewhere would comment but no one did and in fact I got quite a few pictures taken!If anyone wants to cosplay I’d say go for it!
I take a slightly more angry approach to this as I’m a Meirin cosplayer and the Kuro fandom is teeming with thin-privileged little bitches who think you need to be X or Y to play the characters.
